Last month, I and some others encountered a mutated boar that was sprouting vines. It stunk of corruption and its fluids were corrosive.

We killed it, but it's death damaged the land. I tried to cleanse the corruption, but it only stopped the spread.

I'd like you to look at the location.

[Not that that's a problem. At least not when, like, at least three of the things Jordana mentions are relevant to Ivy's field.]

Did you keep any samples of the hybrid?

[As if she has any way to examine them.]

Or is it just the burnt land?

We burned the body. And the labs isn't burnt. Burned land still has life in it. This spot feels... dead.

So you suspect it's a spiritual problem, not biochemical?

[wyldfire]

It could be both. There is definitely spiritual corruption, but boar saliva should not burn like acid.

I don't want to discount the possibility that I'm wrong.

If it is spiritual, I might still be able to encourage plants to backfill the area. Nature can be very resilient with a little help.

That's the hope. And then finding what caused the corruption. Will you come look at it?

Sure. I've been in town long enough to get clean, get some "real" pants and get fed up with people who seem to think I'm half way to turning into a dryad.

Definitely could use something to do and a little more selective company.

It's a long ride. You might want to grab sobering to eat unless you photosynthesize.

I can, actually, but with the weather being what it is, something to eat is also probably not a bad idea.

Where will you be?

Packing for a night in the mountains. I don't think my bike will have enough charge to get us there and back before it runs out. Like you said: the weather.

Among other things. It is a sacred duty to keep nature safe, even if it can eat you.

I'm not afraid of nature, but I appreciate the sentiment.
